, and I began the sojourn to California in mid June after we were laid off by our employer, an up an coming game developer. We departed Vancouver, Canada and rode our ten speed bicycles for 2246 km or roughly 1395 miles. We made it just in time to attend the San Diego Comic-Con International near the end of July. ....Fuck. That. The real story is our lazy asses flew out of Minnesota on the 22nd of July and we went to Comic-Con the following days. While at Comic-Con our friend and rising comic artist :iconblisterlips got us into a Comic Book Legal Defense Fund party. During the party she forced us to socialize and the aforementioned story was recited to
by one fucking skinny dude. THE DUDE RODE HIS BIKE FROM CANADA TO SAN DIEGO......WUT.Comic-Con was awesome this year. I got to go with my good buddies
, and I got to hang out with 
who is getting increasingly more press because she is fucking awesome. Anyway, I also got to meet Meredith Gran who draws Octopus Pie and she drew a sketch in my sketch book as did Mike Krahliuk from Penny Arcade. It was awesome and possibly the best Comic-Con. I even got the dude who started the CBLDF to scoff at my shitty comics. Which means, I have the potential to make comics he won't hate. AWESOME. I also got Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria to sign one of my drawings. Which hopefully, when I get back to Minnesota, will be done and I can scan it there. Also, I kept running into him. It was fucking ridiculous.
